Local Sounds in Public

Have you ever realised that the potential of South African music in its fullest is just too big, whereby even words can’t express the excitement. Let’s chat about public relations contribution towards the area. South Africa is said to be very fortunate to entail 11 official languages that appeals to different citizens in their respectful cultures. South African musicians have freewill to express their art and talents through which ever language they please, whether it is vernacular or the official international language. In most cases it may even sound as though each song in a different and particular language represents a different culture…we have that privilege. This goes to show that with any country in naming, the country’s history will always be embraced in the present tradition. Music is one of the most valued attributes in any society, as it is a mutual concept that brings people together, during sport events, gatherings, social events and so forth. It’s something that almost everyone can relate to, depending on their personal preferences. Local legendary musicians such as Mariam MakebaYvonne Chaka Chaka etc; have played a huge role in orchestrating a mutual ear for music with all South Africans, As they were one of the first musicians to write songs in not only vernacular but English as well. Today we follow many other musicians who have followed in their footsteps. We are therefore even more proud to be South African.. relationships are built, and people continue to relate. Do we just love our drumzzzz and beatsss…

The relevance of Public Relations in the entertainment industry

The topic in discussion is the tutoring of public relations as a study field as well as its role in the music industry for upcoming matric graduates. It’s not very often that public relations is encouraged or even discussed as a study field or tertiary course in high schools. Of course, one may be certain that high school educators have become secondary channels for the purpose of condoning and encouraging tertiary education to high-school pupils. During this practice, you find subjects such as Medicine , Engeneering, Economics, etc. particularly in discussion. Not that there is anything wrong with this, however, it does not give students an opportunity to think of anything apart from the fields that they’re already familiar with. It is at times unfortunate that certain functions of public relations only show in the final or end product. For instance, considering big events, people are not always aware of the effort and team work that is put into such activities. And the actual function of public relations in such instances. Same applies with high-school pupils; they may be intrigued by the idea of entertainment, though they are not familiar with the coordination. As many people see entertainment as just singing or acting     radio, tvmagazine ect.
